Words of Welcome from Our Pastors

All the people of Highland Presbyterian Church are the ministers. As pastors, we hope to offer guidance and support in each person's journey and to stimulate the church to consider the implications of our witness both as individuals and as a body. We believe that the church is the Body of Christ and that therefore our task together is to discern what God is revealing among us. We are broken people who often fall short of what God has intended, yet, living in God's grace; a church full of seekers, open to the guidance of each other; a church full of the blessed, seeking to share our blessings with a hurting world. Come and join us on the journey.

Please note that summer worship schedule began on May 30th and continue through September 5th. On September 12th, we will resume our regular worship schedule with services at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. See the announcements for details.

The Membership Committee will be holding a class for people interested in joining Highland. The gathering will be before and after worship (including lunch) on Sunday, August 15th. If you are already a member but know of someone in your pew, or in your neighborhood, at school or at work who is looking for a church home, invite them to come! If you have been visiting Highland for a while and want to know more about the church, please join us! If you have any questions, please talk with Randy or Debbie (724-6303).

Tapes and CDs of Sunday worship services are available in the Library. You may check out a tape or CD for fifteen days by signing the list posted there.
