Highland’s Choirs combine fellowship and fun with serving others through music. Here are the musical groups in our church:

COVENANT CHOIR
• For beginning singers in Kindergarten this fall and grades 1–2
• Rehearsals Tuesdays, 4:30–5:15 p.m.
• First rehearsal, Tuesday, September 14, 4:30 p.m.


GLORIA CHOIR
• For singers with or without singing experience in grades 3–5
• Rehearsals Wednesdays 5:15–6:00 p.m.
• First rehearsal, Wednesday, September 15, 5:15 p.m.


CHANCEL CHOIR
• For adults and college students
• Rehearsals Thursdays 7:15-9:00 p.m.
• First rehearsal begins on Thursday, September 8, 7:15 p.m. in the Choir Room.


MEN'S CHORUS
• For any man in the church, member and visitor alike
• Rehearsals Wednesdays, 6:30–7:15 p.m. every other week
• Beginning in October; for more information, contact Henry Tysinger.

The ministry of music at Highland Church strives to give glory to God, to enhance worship, to serve the needs of choir members, to provide an avenue for service, and to be a tool for evangelism and outreach.

Our new pipe organ was played on Sunday, March 2nd, 2008 for the first time! The 1956 organ was last played on June 15th, 2003, the day before the construction started on the sanctuary renovation project. This new instrument, built by R. J. Brunner and Company of Silver Spring, Pennsylvania, contains 41 ranks (sets of pipes) totaling 2,370 individual pipes.
