Introducing the Book of Revelation"

A nationally-renowned teacher and preacher,
Dr. Blount is the author of the commentary Revelation (New Testament Library), selected as the top reference book for 2009 by the Academy of Parish Clergy. Other works include Can I Get a Witness? Reading Revelation through African-American Culture; Preaching Mark in Two Voices, with Gary Charles; and Struggling with Scripture, with Walter Brueggemann and William C. Placher.

A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
On Sunday, September 12, Dr. Blount will preach at Highland
during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services,
and will teach Sunday School in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m.
