Friday Fun Nights for Highland Children, Toddlers–5th Graders and Night Out for Parents – Friday, May 24, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Our Highland families have a monthly night of fun and fellowship! Parents can drop their children off in the Fellowship Hall where the children will gather for a brief time of faith formation, dinner as Jesus enjoyed around the table with friends, and play time. Parents can head out to a local restaurant for dinner or whittle away their “to-do” list before returning to the church at 7:30 p.m. to pick up children. Children will be accompanied by caring adults from Highland as well as our professional childcare staff person, Judy Parro. LGBTQ Book Group Spring Discussion – All are welcome on Sunday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. as we discuss the next book in our LGBTQ Book Group. The book is Pageboy: A Memoir by Academy Award-nominated actor, as well as producer, and director Elliot Page. Our county library system has copies, or you may purchase your own copy from your favorite book seller. We will read the entire book and discuss it in its entirety.
