Support Our Unhoused Neighbors

This season’s support for our unhoused neighbors will look different than in recent years. Instead of operating overflow shelters, City with Dwellings will be opening a White Flag Shelter on needed nights; this change is so that CWD can focus more energy (and money!) on long-term housing solutions for our neighbors. The White Flag Shelter will open when it is 38 degrees or colder with precipitation or 32 degrees or lower regardless. Opportunities to get involved will be on an on-call basis (notified by noon on the day-of) and include hospitality as well as providing dinner. Click here to volunteer and/or learn more.

In addition, two Saturdays a month, St. Timothy’s Episcopal is hosting unhoused women for breakfast and lunch, from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. as a time for respite and community. Volunteers will provide food and hospitality. Click here to volunteer and/or learn more.

Thank you for serving our neighbors in need!
