Dear Members and Friends of Highland,

We invite you to join us on a journey.

In June, 2020, Highland’s Session approved the formation of a Racial Justice Task Force (now H.E.A.R.T. Force, Highland’s Equity and Anti-Racism Task Force), and we have been at work since then to make plans for ways that the church might strive together to face the deep scar of racism. We believe that God is at work to do a new thing in this unsettled time, and we find ourselves called to respond together.

In addition to other opportunities to respond, our group invites you to accept this invitation to receive bi-weekly emails that will share links for resources that we have found helpful. In the future, we are exploring ways that those who are interested might “gather” to reflect on what we’re reading, watching, and learning.
