Youth Sunday Planning and Lunch, March 15 – Senior Highs following Worship
We have the foundation for a truly incredible Youth Sunday Service! We need your voices to make it possible! We’ll grab lunch from the Fellowship Hall and convene in the youth room to get to work!
Summer Trip Sign Ups
- Montreat Youth Conference June 7–13 – Current 8th through 12th grade in high school: A week where young people are affirmed in who they are and who God is calling them to be. It’s a week centered on worship, community, and honest faith where youth are reminded they are deeply loved, they belong, and their faith matters.
- Massanetta Middle School Conference July 14–17 – Current 5th through 8th grades: Join a life-giving week where hundreds of middle schoolers gather each summer. We’ll share gatherings designed just for middlers, including worship, games, workshops, and small groups led by high school Advocates.
Youth Breakfast – 9:30 Sunday Mornings
Youth love food! Help us wake up with a Sunday treat before Sunday School by providing a little motivation and fellowship in the mornings—Winter Slots Open! Sponsor A Breakfast
Moore School Food Pantry
There’s a great many ways to serve! Through our ministry alongside Temple Emanuel, we support the neighboring families at Moore Elementary School. As youth we have two big ways we can share:
*Clothes Closet: Children’s sized clothes are greatly appreciated- especially SMOD or uniforms!
*Volunteer in the Pantry: pick up groceries, pack bags, greet guests! Click the link here to see dates and shifts available.
Worship Leadership – Opportunities for All – Youth in worship leadership is a great joy! In addition to acolytes, we are adding a new practice to walking in the communion elements and the Bible as visual grounding for the act of worship. Additionally youth are encouraged to take a turn leading prayers and ushering. These are roles needed at every Sunday service so reach out to take a turn! Contact Hannah Duane or Courtney
